Anglomania- ‘An excessive admiration of English customs.’

That word is the definition behind the name of a collection of which we currently have 2 pieces of in our store. Created by Dame Vivienne Westwood in 1998, this collection launched for both men and women. It’s intent? To reach younger people and more casual demand, enabling more of the population to be able to afford a high quality, long lasting products.

A firm believer in ‘quality over quantity’, Vivienne often tells of her feelings against the current age of fast fashion. In fact, the idea of ‘quality over quantity’ is one of three main staples in her brands ethical values. Her website states ‘we use our brands voice to raise awareness of the environmental impact of overconsumption, urging people to buy less and buy better quality clothes, while creating collections that meet this standard.’

This speaks volumes to us here at armcandy, as it resonates with our pre loved stock and our eco friendly mantras, which push us to keep trying to improve our business’ carbon footprint, thanks for the inspo Vivienne!
